Involvement

A culture of giving back to society.

“NAP has always believed in giving back to our local communities, and as such we have been involved in different charities. My father Ted was involved in work with the Rotary Club, and my mother Maureen was involved with Victim Services York Region. I have personally been involved with the Mark Santi Foundation.

This is our humble way of helping those in need, and I truly appreciate the values that my parents have instilled in our family regarding the importance of giving back to our community.”

A Tradition of Giving Back

A large part of NAP’s heritage is steeped in community involvement, as we truly believe in giving back and helping those in need.

Since 2014, NAP has proudly sponsored the Annual Customer Appreciation Golf Tournament. The event brings together employees, clients, and community members in an engaging and meaningful way. A recipient is chosen every year to receive the proceeds from this event.

Making A Positive Impact

All the proceeds will go to what the recipient needs, and NAP will pay directly for what is required to ensure that 100% of the money raised goes to the respective purpose or pledge.

In doing this, NAP strives to give back to the community that has supported the company through the years while also providing support and making a positive impact on the recipients.

This charity event has become a yearly tradition with participants (or “The Tribe,” as they are more commonly referred to).

The funds raised from these events have gone to different charitable projects ranging from assembling a personal playground for a young child diagnosed with cancer to kitchen renovations and purchasing a wheelchair accessible van.

Community Involvement Showcase

In 2014, NAP partnered with the Richmond Hill Rotary Club to raise funds to provide Jean – a three-year-old living with Type 1 diabetes – with a service dog.

Jean’s illness is so severe that if her blood sugar level is low, she could fall into a hypoglycemic life-threatening coma.

Her service dog Noah is trained to detect changes in Jean’s hypoglycemia levels and alert her mother as well as other caregivers, who are then able to treat her.

NAP accepts applications annually from families and people within our network suffering from an illness that requires special medical attention.
